A 55 km not too difficult route which leads you to beautiful landscapes.
Starting from Cesenatico, a nice seaside resort on the Adriatic coast. The tour begins on a flat area of course. Through Sala let’s cross Sant'Angelo and Gatteo before reaching Savignano, known for the Roman bridge and Julius Caesar. Once here, we recommend a stop at Castle Ribano, where you can taste wines among the most valuable of Romagna. With an easy climb you’ll reach Longiano, a charming medieval village dominated by a Malatesta fortress of the thirteenth century, which stands on the hills overlooking the sea.
Let’s go on: a ramp rather hard surrounded by rural landscape will take you to the village of Roncofreddo and then to Santa Paola. From here you’ll find a latch to the road for Montiano. Once taken, a slight descent takes you to the small town with a medieval ambience with a beautiful tower standing. Let’s cross Montiano, with a rapid descent followed by a long straight you’ll go back to the Via Emilia. From here you can easily reach Cesenatico.
